Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities – Electrical Engineer * Design, review, and supervise electrical systems and installations in accordance with applicable standards and codes. * Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, load calculations, BOQs, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. * Monitor site activities, inspect work quality, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective technical solutions. * Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation. * Evaluate materials and equipment, and support procurement activities. * Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. * Conduct testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. * Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel.

Required Skills – Electrical Engineer * Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and safety standards. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to prepare electrical designs, drawings, load calculations, BOQs, and technical documentation. * Experience in electrical system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. * Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills. * Good project planning, coordination, and time management abilities. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, consultants, and contractors. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. * Knowledge of quality control, site supervision, and regulatory compliance. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.

Minimum Educational Qualification * Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a recognized university. * Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction, MEP, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. * Registration with the relevant professional engineering body (if applicable) will be considered an advantage.
