Jbl charge 4
Bluetooth speaker + powerbank
It is designed as a rugged speaker with IPX7 water protection, so it is completely waterproof, you can even drop it into a pool, especially because this model floats on the water.
The major changes happened under the hood and the Charge 4 got a larger 7500 mAh battery compared to the 6000mAH of the former model.
With this, a full charge takes 5.5 hours and the speaker can play music up to 20 hours and as its name implies you can use it as a power bank thanks to its USB out port.
The charging port was replaced with a new USB type C port, so the Charge 4 will be the first JBL speaker using this type of port.
In terms of connectivity, it will support the new JBL Connect+ technology, so it can be connected to more than 100 JBL Connect+ speakers.
Regarding the sound, the Charge 4 got updated drivers which can provide 30W RMS output power on the 60Hz-20KHz frequency range.
