The Particolored Flying Squirrel is a small, nocturnal mammal with dark gray to black fur, a lighter or whitish underside, large eyes, and a long, furry tail. It has a thin gliding membrane between its limbs, which allows it to glide from one tree to another. It is mainly active at night and feeds on fruits, seeds, buds, and other plant materials. This species is found in forested areas of Bangladesh and other parts of South and Southeast Asia.
