Some wrong methods of honey testing:
Pure honey does not attract ants: This is misinformation. Tested ourselves many times. If you want, you can cut the comb in front of you and test it yourself, you will understand the truth yourself.
Honey catches fire: Yes, not all honey catches fire. The honey which has less moisture, if that honey is applied on a piece of paper or at the head of a matchstick, it burns. But doing this test on thin honey will give the opposite result. Even if the honey is pure, not catching fire is definitely labeled as adulterated.
Honey sinks directly into a glass of water: Yes, it does, but there is a vast difference in results between thick honey and thin honey. Even if thick sugar or candy syrup is made and poured into a glass, it is often seen to sink to the bottom.
