Assistant Chef

Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations. Prepare ingredients, including chopping, cutting, marinating, and portioning. Cook and present food according to recipes and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment. Ensure proper food storage and follow food safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and inform the chef when ingredients are running low. Help with receiving and checking food supplies. Maintain proper portion sizes and minimize food waste. Support other kitchen staff during busy service periods. Ensure dishes are prepared and served on time. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely. Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
