Responsibilities
• Search for and onboard local partners and individuals working with wallet payments in Bangladesh
• Build connections with companies and teams related to payment infrastructure and e-wallets
• Assist with testing and validating payment solutions on the local market
• Monitor updates, changes, and trends within the Bangladesh payment ecosystem and share key insights with the internal team
• Support operational and launch-related activities of the company in Bangladesh
• Translate documents, communication, and working materials from English to Bengali and vice versa
• Maintain communication with existing local partners
• Collect feedback from partners and users
• Participate in product launch and growth together with the team
Requirements & Skills
• Bengali language proficiency at C1 level
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher
• Strong understanding of Bangladesh payment infrastructure, including payment methods, agent networks, and banking systems
• Understanding of legal onboarding and business registration processes in Bangladesh
• Understanding of the high-risk industry specifics
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Will be a plus:
• Experience in local processing, high-risk payments, or personal experience as a trader
• Experience in finding and building relationships with wallet distribution houses
• Direct contacts within bKash and Nagad teams
• Experience supporting company registration and legal processes in Bangladesh

We are looking for a Country Manager focused on the Bangladesh market with a deep understanding of the local payment infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing the partner network, onboarding traders, monitoring the regulatory environment, and supporting the operational launch of the company’s payment products on the local market.
