Kadaknath or Kali Masi is a type of Indian breed chicken. The native home of this chicken breed is Jhabua village of Madhya Pradesh and it is said that it is named after Jhabua village.

Kadaknath chicken meat has high amounts of protein, negligible fat, and cholesterol, which makes the demand for Kadaknath chicken meat very high among people.
From controlling blood pressure to regulating blood sugar, boosting muscle strength, and even playing a special role in preventing cancer, nutritionists state that chicken has antioxidants and plenty of iron. The cholesterol level in this black chicken meat is much lower than regular chicken. This chicken meat contains 1.94 percent fat, which is much lower compared to other species of chicken meat.
