Junior Chef Wanted

Junior Chef – Roles and Responsibilities Assist senior chefs in preparing and cooking food according to recipes and kitchen standards. Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring food items. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and follow food safety standards. Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients. Assist with food plating and presentation. Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion sizes. Keep kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations clean and organized. Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef. Help manage stock levels and report low supplies. Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service hours.

Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards. Ability to follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs. Previous kitchen experience is an advantage. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Minimum SSC or equivalent educational qualification. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
