Ielts Instructor

Responsibilities • conduct ielts classes for listening, reading, writing and speaking • prepare students for ielts academic and general training modules • check writing tasks and provide detailed feedback • conduct speaking practice and mock tests • teach exam strategies, time management and band improvement techniques • monitor student progress and support weak students individually • prepare class materials, practice tasks and lesson plans • maintain a professional, motivating and student-friendly classroom environment • guide students to improve grammar, vocabulary, fluency and accuracy

Minimum ielts overall band score 7.0 required • strong command of english grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation • good understanding of ielts exam format and band descriptors • ability to teach all four ielts modules confidently • previous ielts teaching experience will be given preference • excellent communication and presentation skills • responsible, punctual, organised and student-focused • ability to motivate students and improve their confidence
