Orbika Summary:
For quite some time, Mounita has been visiting a canal side to observe people. She searches for someone for a while, but leaves when she finds no one suspicious. However, one day she spots a strange man there. After observing him for several days, she finally strikes up a conversation with him one afternoon. She learns the man's name is Tana Mia. He is deeply saddened and stands by the canal, reminiscing about the past. Mounita, under the guise of observation, bombards him with questions. Sometimes she even prods him—not with her hands, but with her words. They spend a thrilling afternoon together, and Tana Mia's strange questions pique Mounita's interest in observing him further. Mounita spots a diary in Tana Mia's possession. She secretly wishes to see it, to know what is written inside! But Tana Mia refuses to show her. Mounita tries to steal the diary but fails. Finally, Tana Mia leaves the diary behind and heads home. Exhausted, he returns home and falls into a peaceful sleep.
At the beginning of the story, we see Tana Mia fall in love with a girl named Jiner Badsha. A partial love story between Jiner Badsha and Tana Mia is observed. Then, about two and a half years pass. After two and a half years, Tana Mia is seen in a different form. But we do not see Orbika here.
Now the question is, who is this Orbika? What happened during those two and a half years? Why was Tana Mia sad? What did Tana Mia write in the diary that Mounita found?
Orbika is undoubtedly the heroine of this story. To find the answers to these questions and to know Orbika, you must wait for the next part of this book.
